Tommy’s Express Car Wash
Tommy's Express Car Wash is an automated car wash with a 3590 sq. ft. wash bay and self service vacuum lot featuring 15 self-serve vacuum bays. The wash bay is fully automated, conveyor driven with water reclamation tanks. The facility has two, two-story towers which are utilized for the flight deck, private office/conference area and equipment and product storage.
The bold colors and modern materials create an inviting, modern car wash. The materials include, conventional steel, acrylic tunnel, flat TPO roof at towers, brick veneer, EIFS facade at tunnel entrance and exit with aluminum star burst trim, sheet metal cornices and a drive-through canopy pay station.
Dealing with harsh winter weather conditions made the front end of the project challenging with the complex nature of the foundation and wash bay tunnel conveyor pit and the extensive site utility work.
